About MUSE
The Muse Magazine is a student-led publication that endeavours to give students an outlet to express their innermost thoughts and emotions through numerous creative dimensions, with works ranging from poetry, short stories, personal essays, critics, and literary quizzes. In particular, we encourage fledgling writers by showing how writing is not necessarily something academic, kept within the confines of a classroom, but rather, a process of self-exploration and growth.
We strive to promote the student voice to the CIS community, in hopes that Muse Magazine will be an oasis in which students can safely find their voice and the power that comes from using it. Not only do we strive to capture the beauty of the written word, but one of our main goals is to cultivate a tight-knit community of writers where inspiration continues to sprout –which indeed, is the definition of Muse!
As a whole, we hope that our readers will be inspired, challenged and comforted by the plethora of voices captured within each issue.

Muse magazine was not meant to be read, but to be experienced. So sit back, and enjoy the exhilarating journey that is about to come.
