Hi! I’m Amy, and I’m the founder and president of Muse. Since my year in Hangzhou back in 2018, I’ve had a penchant for the arts, especially when it comes to writing, and I hoped to foster a creative platform through which students (and teachers!) are able to capture moments that are true to the individual. Being surrounded by people (especially my roommates) who were so encouraging and just as passionate, I was able to deepen my interest in writing and build a safe, creative space to amplify student voices so that all those fledgling writers, visual artists, and photographers out there have the opportunity they deserve to showcase their works to the wider community. Afterall, Muse started off as an overly ambitious idea written on a scrap piece of A4 paper, and yet here we are now… It’s been a journey well worth the time :)
