Hi, I'm Melle, a Year 12 student. I have many hobbies but my top 3 are playing volleyball, gardening, and reading. I have a knack for experimenting with many things whether it'd be trying out a new "healing technique" on my friends, cooking without a recipe, or in this case writing poetry. In this poem, I try to capture the nuances of a bittersweet feeling by reflecting on a dear memory. I love how I can express myself authentically but mysteriously through poems and how people don't necessarily need to understand the poem's meaning to come up with very insightful interpretations and theories!
